Payment Options

Heartland Welding Academy has several payment options available. We accept cash, check money order and wire transfer payments. In addition, scholarships, grants and financing are available to those who qualify. We are not able to accept federal financial aid or loans at this time.

The Work Ethic Scholarship Program is for people in skilled trade training programs.

Wichita Manufacturers Association

Provides scholarships to students pursuing training that will lead to manufacturing careers. Please visit their website for more info on requirements and application deadlines.

VA Education Benefits

Heartland Welding Academy is able to accept Veteran’s Education Benefits. More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill. Grants

Kansas Workforce Development

Heartland Welding Academy is approved as an eligible training provider through Kansas Workforce Development, which offers grants and funding opportunities throughout the year.

SER Corporation of Kansas

SER (Service, Education and Re-Training) is a direct grantee for the NFJP (National Farmworker Jobs Porgram). To qualify, you must have worked in an agricultural environment in the past two years, be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet certain income and farm work criteria.

American Indian Council

Is funded by the WIOA Section 166 Indian & Native Programs Employment & Training Program. To be eligible to apply you must be an enrolled member or a verifiable descendant of a federally recognized tribe.

Financing

Meritize

You share a percentage of your income with Trade Up instead of paying a fixed amount of money every month.  Your payments will always be affordable, and adjust with your salary. Your payments don’t start until you graduate and land a job!
