Social Media Specialist
Mireya was born in Durango, Mexico, and raised by parents who immigrated to the United States to provide a better future for their family. After graduating high school, she became a mother at 18 and eventually grew her family to include three children. Her journey has been defined by hard work and a constant willingness to reinvent herself.
Over the years, Mireya gained experience across multiple industries, including healthcare, corrections, and customer service. While each position taught her valuable skills, these roles also helped her recognize a desire to pursue a skilled trade that would allow her to build something meaningful. This realization ultimately led her to the field of welding.
Mireya made the decision to return to school and invest in her future, graduating from Heartland Welding Academy in 2025. Today, she is committed to growing within the welding industry and creating impactful content that highlights the opportunities, strength, and community found within the trade.
When she is not creating content, Mireya enjoys spending quality time with her children, watching movies, playing board games, and caring for their animals.
